I’m here now and very much enjoying the coffee – just finished my second. Around the corner from the Barbican, and up the road from Smiths Market it’s a compact little place, but a decent sized table, enough room for me, Ray, and our macs. (14″ and 17″ respectably) Not a great deal to gaze at out the window, but lunchtime is buzzing, so a nice atmosphere inside. I have decided against something edible, not because it doesn’t look appealing, but purely because we can’t decide on something to share. I have just spotted a jar of Anzac biscuits though…
One neg – nice red china, but silly small handle – finger and thumb jobby – not cool.

Having two jobs means that work is squeezed in when you can. Lazy Sunday afternoons at the coffee shop with the paper have turned into productive Sunday afternoons at the coffee shop, accompanied by our apple macs.

KAFFEINE, a new coffee shop to me. Up in Fitzrovia. A nice place, coffee was good, although the seats not that comfy, and the ambiance loud.

It’s raining, so I’ve retreated to Foxcroft and Ginger on Berwick Street to drown my sorrows in a prettily presented cappuccino. I am running on reserve battery also, so not all is going to plan. I’ve begun actually taking my lunch break, and hope to use the time productively. Presently I am getting back on the blogging wagon and have begun a search for a new theme for charlotteknee.com 2.0.
